Guitar Chords (guitarchords.online) is run by Cad Graphics CC, a close corporation registered in South Africa ("we"). We collect as little as we can. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies and no analytics.

What stays on your device

Your starred shapes, avoid-rules, level, key, capo and other settings are saved in your browser's local storage. They never reach us. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

If you buy Songwriter mode

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and keeps short-lived logs of requests to our licence check. The page also loads its typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers.

Email

If you write to support@guitarchords.online, we keep the conversation so we can help you, and delete it on request.

Your rights

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and similar laws where you live, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email support@guitarchords.online. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

Children

The app collects nothing from anyone using the free chord finder, at any age. Purchases are made through Lemon Squeezy and need someone old enough to pay.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
